Delivery and Returns
Il Mare endeavours to ship products within 24 hours of receiving your order. For domestic express post, your order will need to be placed prior to 1.00pm for same day dispatch.
Shipping within Australia is free for orders AUD150 and over, orders under 150 will incur a 10 shipping fee.
International shipping is free for orders over AUD150; for orders under 150, country specific shipping rates are available at checkout.
Orders within Australia are shipped via Australia Post; international orders are shipped via Australia Post or DHL Express. Please allow 3 - 7 business days for overseas shipping.
Taxes & Duties
For orders outside of Australia and New Zealand, taxes and duties may be set by the customs authorities in your country. Any taxes or duties incurred are the responsibility of the customer so please make yourself familiar with your local import rules prior to ordering. We are unable to amend the value of the order listed on your commercial invoice and we must adhere to all international import/export rules and regulations.
We happily accept exchanges for full priced online orders within 7 days of delivery. We do not offer exchanges on any discounted items including any promotional discounts.
We offer refunds for full priced online orders within 7 days of delivery. Refunded goods must be unworn and in perfect condition with the original packaging.
Once processed, the original payment method will be refunded in full for the value of the item(s) returned, excluding the associated shipping costs. Please note we cannot refund via a different payment method nor to a different person.
Once your refund has been processed, please allow up to 3 business days for the funds to appear in your account.
We do not offer refunds on gift cards nor discounted items including promotional discounts.
All goods are quality checked prior to dispatch however if your item(s) arrive damaged, please contact us within 7 days of receipt so that we can arrange a replacement, repair or refund. Items with manufacturing faults after wear need to be reported within 3 months of purchase for repair (if possible) or replacement. Please note that items which have been damaged as a result of incorrect garment care or general wear are not considered to be faulty.
- To be eligible for a refund or exchange, we require a receipt or proof of purchase and your item(s) must be unused and in the original condition/packaging including the linen bag it arrived in otherwise it will not be processed.
- When returning an item, please consider using a trackable shipping service as we are not liable for lost packages. Il mare is not responsible for the cost of return postage.
- All domestic items require signature on delivery and shipping notifications will be sent to your email with updates. Whilst we do everything we can to ensure safe delivery, we are not liable for goods once signed for as this is deemed proof of delivery.
